Quaint pub, as you know it "from before". Good food, delicious drinks and cozy atmosphere. Nice talks with other guests and the landlords. A simple place to feel good.

I was so surprised. Extremely inconspicuous, but so wonderfully warm there. And the food was of a surprisingly high quality and just tasted like home.

I ate a Thuringian Rostbrätl. After the host asked me how I liked it, all I could say was great. I had tears in my eyes while eating, thinking that I would have to do without something so delicate at home in Berlin! 😂

For 5 years I have been enjoying the food there every year when I am in Rudolstadt. The boss and his wife have everything under control. She cooks (great Thuringian cuisine) and he serves and serves, always nice. Fair prices, all good. One should put a monument to such an inn.
